Spirits produced from fermented grapes by water vapour, the term Grappa probably comes from "graspo (stalk)", the end part of the branch in Venetian dialect. Its origin goes back to the first century BC, but the first distilled products date back to between 1300 and 1400. An ancient tradition which has been carried on for the pleasure of those who know how to appreciate it.


Crystal clear and transparent. Its aroma gives clear hints of fresh marc and floral accents on the nose. Its taste is hot and strong. Balance, and not an alcoholic assault, rules this Grappa of Chianti.
